Our pigs are reared and fattened organically free-ranging out-of-doors and able to follow their natural behaviour foraging, rooting, snorting and grunting in the open, with warm straw-bedded arks to sleep and shelter in.
Our bacons and hams are dry-salted by hand without Nitrates but a low level of nitrites to avoid residue once cured and cooked. Low nitrite needn’t mean there should be any compromise on taste. Our delicious slow, dry-cured organic gammon and bacon are made from our free-range organic pigs. Although nitrate free and immeasurably low nitrite, we are able to deliver that same great taste with no nitrates and a significantly lower amount of nitrites - making our range healthier than comparable products on the market!
