Delivery is £7.50, for the UK Mainland south of Fife. If you are in the Highlands and Islands, other UK islands or in Northern Ireland PLEASE DO PHONE OR EMAIL YOUR POSTCODE BEFORE YOU ORDER and we will advise you of the cost and delivery time.
Orders over £80 are delivered free of charge. You can also opt to pre-order and collect, for free, from the farmers market. Just choose one of the following markets that we regularly attend at the check-out. You can also collect free from the farm during weekdays only and before 5pm.
Evey Saturday we are at Leith Market (Dock Place) Edinburgh. Every Sunday we are at Stockbridge Market, Sanderson St Edinburgh. Every second Saturday we are Glasgow Farmers Market (Mansfield Park). Every first Saturday we are at Edinburgh Farmers Market, Castle Terrace. Every fourth Saturday we are at Kelso Farmer Market in the Market Square.
Your Destination: If you or the destination of your order are local ie The Scottish Borders, North Northumberland or Edinburgh we will deliver it with our van either on a Wednesday or a Thursday. We will confirm this with you.
If you or the destination of your order are any where beyond this we will courier our products to you. We send products on Thursday for a Friday (normally by midday) delivery; If you are in the Scottish Highlands & Islands or Northern Ireland, your order could take 2-5 days which is why it is essential that you let us have your email address to check before you order (much as we would love to have your order we need to ensure that it arrives eadible !!).
We do not use courier services on Fridays for Saturday deliveries.
We will confirm the delivery date with you when we receive your order. If you are receiving your order by courier we will email you again on Thursday afternoons with the courier consignment number enabling you to track the progress of your order.
ORDER DEADLINES FOR DELIVERY THE SAME WEEK:
Orders for sausages, burgers, sausage meat, meat loaves and cooked ham by close of play on Mondays. We hand make our sausages & burgers early every Tuesday morning when we also slowly cook our hams.
Orders for Charcuterie & Salamis need to be with us by close-of-play on Tuesday as we slice on Wednesday mornings
Any orders for meat cuts & joints need to be with us by lunchtime on Wednesday for delivery the same week.
Orders received after these deadlines will be carried over until the following week.
The butchery team here on the farm prepare your order from our livestock in our certified organic butchery and pack everything fresh, ready for dispatch. We dispatch your order to you in biodegradable Woolcool insulation (based on sheeps wool), in biodegradable sleeves , and securely packed into double walled cardboard with frozen gel icepacks.
OUR PRODUCTS ARE ALWAYS SENT FRESH AND CHILLED USING PROTECTED INSULATED PACKAGING AND DRY-ICE.
