About Peelham

Rising to 700 feet at the southern edge of the Lammermuir Hills and close to the Berwickshire Coast, Peelham overlooks both the Tweed and the Eye Valleys, with expansive, panoramic views of the North Sea and North Northumberland.

Family-run by Cayley Walton Partners (Amanda Cayley, Chris and Denise Walton), Peelham is a mixed farm with a diversity of habitats influenced by its proximity to the sea. Management includes a commitment to animal welfare, environmental renewal and habitat restoration.

Other members of the Peelham team include: Angus Walton, Ann Nisbet, Andrew Watson and Jim Moorhead all of whom live and play locally !!

Peelham Farm

Our philosophy is sustainable self-reliance. Making the most of Peelham's location and natural resources, we have diversified the farm by building a British Horse Society approved equestrian cross-country course which is open all-year-round.

We also add value to the meat from our livestock which we sell direct to both wholesale and retail customers.

To achieve our aspirations for product quality and integrity, we rely on BRITISH NATIVE BREEDS, grow OUR OWN animal feeds and forage, operate an OPEN FARM policy for our customers, and include ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION and RENEWAL into our management.

The farm is self-reliant in livestock-food and forage, guaranteeing freedom from GMOs and growth-promoting anti-biotics. Peelham is a certified organic farm with the Scottish Organic Producers Association. (SOPA certification number 822). Click here for more details and to buy Peelham produce.
